Starting the ascend 3am, a gang of three mountaineering musketeers set out
to climb the Mont Blanc Du Tacul (4248 m).
Follow me on a journey of snowy mountains,
an epic sunset and a dozen of positive vibes from the French Alps.

MONT BLANC DU TACUL IS A MOUNTAIN IN THE MONT BLANC MASSIF OF THE FRENCH ALPS. IT IS SITUATED MIDWAY BETWEEN THE AGUILLE DI MIDI AND MONT BLANC AND RISES 4248 METERS ABOVE THE GROUND. THIS IS MY FIRST SUMMIT ON THE MONT BLANC MASSIF.
Earlier this year, in June, I set off to France for a week of mountaineering activities. The ultimate (and long-planned) goal was to summit Mont Blanc (4810 m). The roof of Europe. However, due to bad weather forecasts (up till 80 m/s wind, what is up with that?), we decided to give Mont Blanc du Tacul (4248 m) a go.
After a week-long acclimation programme, we camped for one night at Cosmiques Refuge (3613 m): a hut located close to the Augille di Midi lift station. It is a frequently used accommodation for mountaineers and climbers and you get to meet people from all over the world. There is sort of a hostel feel to it and the views from the terrace are amazing.
We started the ascend at 3 am in the morning, fueled by Nutella and ready to climb the Mont Blanc du Tacul.
